Carbon County Treatment Courts
Treatment courts are specialized courts that address the root causes of crime—often substance use or mental health conditions—through structured treatment and close supervision. Led by a judge and a multidisciplinary team, participants receive clinical assessment, individualized care, regular court check‑ins, drug testing, and clear incentives and sanctions. Participation is voluntary and successful completion can result in a reduction in chargers or sentence.
